: How the State of Israel was born:
The area of the Middle East called Palestine was under the Ottoman Empire. But after the Ottomans’ defeat in World War I, Britain took control of Palestine. In November 1917, Britain captured Jerusalem from Turkish troops. The land of Palestine was under British control from 1917 to 1948. At that time, the British government decided to support the creation of a separate state for the Jews in Palestine.
The then British Foreign Secretary, Lord Arthur James Balfour, wrote a letter to the leader of the Jewish movement, Baron Rothschild, informing him of the matter. The letter from the then British Foreign Secretary is known as the ‘Balfour Declaration’. Britain promised the Jews the opportunity to establish a state in Palestine, even though a small religious community of Jews had lived there since Roman times.
The negative view of Jews in Europe further fueled the idea of forming their own state. From 1933 onwards, the German ruler Hitler began to be harsh towards Jews.

In the late 1930s, Britain wanted to strengthen its position in the Middle East against Hitler’s Nazi forces. To that end, Britain wanted to keep both Arabs and Jews in its hands. After the end of World War II in 1945, discussions began about what to do with the Jews who had survived. In November 1947, the United Nations decided to create two states in Palestine, one for the Jews and the other for the Arabs. The Jews owned 10 percent of the total land, but were given half of the total land. But the Arabs had twice as many people and land. Naturally, the Arabs did not accept this decision. They rejected the UN decision. The Jews then began to celebrate their victory in the Palestinian territories. Britain left Palestine on May 14, 1948. On the same day, the Jewish leaders of the time announced that the Jewish state would be born that night.
Thus, a state called Israel was established that night, overthrowing the Arabs.
Later on, Israel was admitted as a member of the United Nations on 11 May 1949, pursuant to United Nations General Assembly Resolution 273. In the early years of the state, the Labor Zionist movement, led by Prime Minister Ben-Gurion, dominated Israeli politics.[Collected]

The truth needs to be verified.
How and why did the United Nations recognize the State of Israel as an independent state?
I express my opinion that it is absolutely necessary for the United Nations to reconsider the issue of recognizing Israel as an independent state, since half of the territory does not meet the criteria of Israel’s legitimacy.
May world humanity triumph.
